Aluminum is more rigid than PVC. PVC also expands and contracts contrary to aluminum. The baked-enamel coating protects the aluminum and provides years of durability. This window is made up of two superimposed frames that open from left to right, ideal for indirect ventilation.
Aluminum sliding windows feature a double or triple glazing and a removable rail as an option. The interior floating head facilitates the removal of the panels for cleaning purposes. Their sturdy extruded aluminum frame is insulated with polystyrene foam. Their framework and panes are fitted with a double weather-stripping system and a thermal barrier for superior insulation.
Options
– Two options are available for this model.
– Double glazed, comprised of an inner and exterior pane 3mm clear glass.
– Triple glazed, comprised of an interior 3mm glass and an exterior thermos pane.
